The answer is a definate NO. Super fast motors are designed for straight tracks.
If you are racing on a more technical course, you need to consider using a motor that is better suited.
A Plasma Dash is going to fly off the track as soon as it hits a sharp bend!
The Tamiya Plasma Dash Motor Has Been Discontinued By Tamiya
I contacted Tamiya USA support and asked why the Plasma has been discontinued. All they could say was; “Tamiya Inc. in Japan does not tell us why items have been discontinued.”
I then asked which is the next fastest motor; They recommended that any of the Hyper-Dash motors or the Sprint-Dash motor would be the fastest.
