What I Like
The first thing I like the most about the HS110D is its price point. With a very minimal cost, you can get your hands on a decent level drone, test out and learn drone flying which is a pretty impressive thing. It is so cheap compared to other professional drones that even if you break it while learning as a beginner, it may not have a huge impact.
You get a 1080P HD camera to shoot which is pretty good for what you pay for purchasing the drone. Interestingly, the drone also comes with an extra battery which can be handy while flying the drone.
Moreover, this drone weighs under 250 grams which means you don’t have to worry about registering it
What I Don’t Like
The construction of the drone feels a bit flimsy to me. Also the video quality is not too impressive in low light.
Furthermore, the propeller guards don’t remain firmly affixed to the drone structure. As a result, even with a slight collision they can come out. So these are some of the potential drawbacks. But overall, it is to good a drone available at a very pocket-friendly price point
Pros And Cons
Pros | Cons |
Affordable price | Flimsy construction |
Easy to assemble and fly | Poor video quality in low light |
Comes with spare parts | Propeller guards may become detached during collisions |
Good for beginners | |
Features altitude hold and headless mode
Offers voice and gesture control

How To Fly Holy Stone HS110D
Firstly, make sure that you’re flying in a safe and legal area. Check the local regulations for drone flying in your area, and make sure that you’re flying in a space that is free from obstacles and away from people and animals.
Once you’re in a suitable location, it’s time to prepare your drone for takeoff. Begin by turning on your drone and controller, and ensure that the batteries are fully charged. Make sure that your drone is calibrated before taking off to ensure it flies properly.
To start flying, take off and hover at a low altitude to get familiar with the controls. The Holy Stone HS110D drone is equipped with both altitude hold and headless mode features to make it easier to control, especially for beginners.
To take off, push the left joystick up gently. Once the drone is hovering, use the left joystick to adjust the altitude of the drone. Use the right joystick to control the drone’s direction and speed. The right joystick will control the forward, backward, left, and right movements of the drone.
Once you’ve got the hang of flying your drone, you can start experimenting with some of the other features. The Holy Stone HS110D has an FPV (first-person view) camera that lets you see what the drone sees in real-time. Use the app on your smartphone to control the camera and take photos or record video.
Another useful feature is the altitude hold mode, which keeps the drone hovering at a set altitude without the need to constantly adjust the throttle. This is particularly helpful when taking photos or videos.
When you’re ready to land the drone, bring it down gently by pushing the left joystick down slowly. Make sure to land on a flat surface and turn off the drone and controller after landing.
